What can be the current Canadian market value for an original, full wood 1945 Longbranch No4mk1* T all matching including matching scope and scope mount? This "hypothetical" rifle is in exellent condition. No transit chest or sling thou.

Dont see them very often on here. $3500-5000 range I would say. Maybe more CGNers while chime in. I know a buddy that only paid $3500 for an all matching nice condition. Some will post these rifles for up to $12,000 which is a unrealistic IMO...

About right above. There's the auction frenzy way out there price (in the right auction), the between friends price, the ripping off an old widow price, the wow the serial is my lucky number I just gotta have it price, the you say it's all matching but I just looked at everything and the extractor spring has clearly been replaced so now I want $2k off it price…

Can't be firm without detailed pictures and as much info as possible. Collectors of premium stuff have very particular needs.

Double your estimate and you're probably about right: $6K and up. Would I buy one for that much? No, but other people will.

I know complete sets have sold for north of 10k. Just the rifle and scope would bring less, but probably enough to make one's eyes water.

Thank you all for your answer. I'll give the current seller a call today and see if we can make a deal. It look like he know what it worth but maybe i can get a reasonable price. I know for sure that he bought it at the "screw an old fellow who don't know sh!t about the value" price thou.
