I've read a lot about the Rem SPS rifles but for those of you who own one with the detachable magazine models just a quick question.

How smoothly do clips load and how smooth is the feed for the cartriges. I'm looking around for a rifle with a DM that does not jam up when you have to throw in the clip and crank a couple of rounds through it.

Accuracy, cost, and all of that is for another discussion.

Thanks

I'm a former SPS DM owner. For the record, I'm kind of sad it's gone. I had no issues with the magazine, feeding, or anything like that. The only problem even close to a magazine issue that I experienced was when I was a KM away from the truck when I realized I left the magazine on the dash, and not in my rifle.

It fed fine, and the mag popped in without a problem.

Never owned one but while looking for a rifle with a DM I found them the easiest to remove and throw in out of the savage 111 and Browning bolts I tried out mainly due to the release being on the sides instead of awkwardly on the bottom
