Yes, but the name of the caliber is 45Colt. A 308 is labeled 308 Win or 308 Marlin. It does not help if the gunmaker does not use a proper caliber designation.
Labelling a revolver 45 LC seems improper. You can't find ammo with 45 LC on the box or headstamp.
