hey
was at the range yesterday and testing out two new mags I picked up for my norinco 1911 and things were going great untill I went to feed a mag and a round got stuck backwards just under the ejection port, was from original mag that dropped after I finished firing slide was in open position like normal then dropped mag went to put in new mag and it wouldn't go , I stopped looked chamber clear , looked inside further to see bullet facing backwards, pushed it with my finger and it dropped
I have never ever seen this
anyone else

Like you went to push in the mag and the round came out and flipped backwards? Sounds like the mag needs to be tuned to fit the round better.

Check your feedlips to make sure they are the same distance apart at the front and back. If they are flared out at the front that is when the problems start with the rounds flipping.

hey
wasn't from new mags was from original norinco ones...and agian I've shot this gun with sames mags for some time now and never had an issue....
imagine locking slide in open position and looking down ejection port to see .45 acp facing the wrong direction just below ejection port.....made me say what the f##k....
anyways all mags checked and all seem fine so this would have come from the last round as the mag that I was inserting was full
still makes me shake my head...
