question on federal headstamps???

I just scored a bunch of federal 300 wsm brass.

About half is stamped FC
and half is stamped - FC -

Some of the brass came in boxes, both fusion and their blue box.
But I do not know which was which.

Of course I can separate the 2 and go from there...
But is there a quality or case capacity difference for reloading hunting ammo?

Also while sorting found 7 nosler brass in the mix...

Took a random sample of 7 FC and 7 - FC - and the 7 nosler
Using a jeweler scale and excel came up with some numbers:

Average weight (in grains) was
FC 236.7
- FC - 229.4
Nosler 246.7

The differential was (in grains)
FC 3.0
- FC - 3.0
Nosler 2.7
