From what I have been able to determine from doing my own research on the gun laws, there seems to be no restrictions on hi-cap mags for .22 rimfires. Is this correct ? I would rather not have to call the CFC for such a simple question.
My wife was never really into firearms until I suprised her with an HK416D in .22LR and she really loves it. She likes to plink with it when I am shooting my black rifles at the range. I have finally found some of the 30 round mags, but need to figure out if they are legal here in Canada.
I've gotten a couple of questions about this rifle so I'll just save some time and throw this out there now. It is based on HK's full sized 416 model and licensed for production and made by Carl Walther in Germany. Umarex is the importer down in the states (bought it when we were living in Texas).
Fun as heck and pretty darn accurate. My wife has no problem hitting a 3" and 4" swinger at 50 yards using a knock-off Aimpoint M4.
But the 20 round mags go quick, so a few 30 rounders would be awesome.
