!!! Question on nea arms ar15 !!!!!

Can't speak for their quality personally, but Core and Windham are in that price range, and have been getting positive reviews on the forum.
I personally will not purchase anything NEA or Dlask because of what I have read, heard, and seen.

Unfortunately, "Canadian Made" holds a negative connotation in my mind at the moment.

Another option is building your own. I think it's a great way to learn how the rifle functions, and there is no wasted money on replacement parts, as you can buy exactly what you want to build it. When you buy quality parts, everything fits and works.

sorry you feel that way.
Canadian companies are building some of the best firarms parts in the world right now, and selling them all over the world.
May want to do some more reading before saying this.

Peopel like Cadex,MDT, ARTS and S&J ,AGW to name but a few have no issues selling quality product , we all have issues at times but when your company is based on selling quality product from the get go you are going to get better results.
Most of us feel that its not the issue, its whats done to fix it, that being said, QC is more then a sticker on a box placed by the same person who cleans the floor.

I would not have recommended and an NEA AR 15 approx. 2 years ago. Since then...i believe the qc has improved. Reports are good...they still have minor things to work out. I picked up a 10.5" nea, and found the only issue i had was the mag release. It need to be polished a bit. After that...it has wotkef 100%. my friends norc 10.5 ( actually, 2 friends 10.5) had extraction and feeding issues.

I have an NEA 15 with the 14.5 in barrel and it is has functioned perfectly for aprox 500 rds I have out through it.
Everything seems tight and I like it .

Yikes. Says the guy from S&J who stands to make profit from it. Ooooookay.

The American AR market is much more mature than the Canadian one. I've personally had issues with half the companies you have listed and then some. It hurts me to say this, but it'll be a while before I spend more of my money on a Canadian product.

We dont make ar15s, it has nothing to do with the fast we make product, its to do with that fact you said canadian made stuff is crap.
Simply not true, even if you have had worse luck them most, still canada does make some breat products.
But so does the US, so i guess its up to the OP to buy what he thinks he can afford.

In general made in Canada usually means good quality, robust, reliable, practical. But it never comes cheap. In the firearm industrial there is PGW, ATRS for example. They don't come cheap either.

Hey bro, why are you posting in an AR thread if you don't make any AR's? Do you make AR parts? Your post quite literally makes zero sense and has no continuity or useful information for the OP on his "should I buy an NEA AR?".

Where did I say in my previous post that Canadian made stuff was crap? I said I had issues. There is a difference.

Maybe I was unlucky, but I'm sharing my experience with the OP with my opinion. Stay away from NEA, and build his own AR from proven American components.

I just bought a 14.5" one from SFRC. I love it. I've got an STI and a DDm4 V5 in the house too. The NEA holds it own and then some compared to the other two.

I don't know why anyone is even thinking about NEA or any other brand that has proven QC issues or substandard practices when there are very high grade AR's coming into the country for reasonable prices. If you're willing to spend $1k on an NEA, scrape together a few more pennies and buy a $1500 BCM from Arms East, or a Daniel Defense from Wolverine. Then you'll be getting an AR that's done right.
