just got back from Edmonton, and picked up 2 boxes of Hornady brass for my .375 Ruger alaskan. Anyhow, when I opened the box, the shells are "straight walled" and not bottlenecked as I am used to seeing. Not a biggie. I am sure they will go up just fine and size like any other brass. BUT, seeing as this is a newer round on the market, I don't know how I trim the brass on this particular round. I usually use a lee lock cutter to trim any brass I ever used , just changing out the particular caliber sizing pin.
HOW do I trim the brass on this one?? What do I need to buy to trim this brass??
I have some once fired brass that I have shot, and some that came with the rifle, but its gonna need to be trimmed soon I would imagine, and once I size the factory brass it may be a smidge too long, and I don't know what to use when I have to. Any insight????
