Question on the RCBS Supreme Master Reloading Kit

And you do have the primer rod inserted with the rounded end down?
Yes ,rounded end down.I've disasembled and reassembled it ,no way to get that Rod straight. I called rbcs today ,but they were to busy to talk to me,said they would get back to me.

Let us know what their answer is. I have used several different hand-primer tools over the years and always have found the RCBS to be the sturdiest and most durable of the lot. If it wasn't for the primer rod falling out and dropping on the floor if your turn it upside down it would be damn near perfect. ;)

Also, if you are deburring hundreds of cases look into this Forster tool. It costs less than an electric unit but is far easier on your fingers than doing them by hand (BTW the RCBC tool is too big to fit into the crank so one has to buy the Forster debur tool)

I'll call them back tomorrow, was gonna ask if I can send it back and maybe upgrade, to one their better ones. I'm also thinking about getting the rbcs case prep center. I'll post ,what they tell me tomorrow. And thanks for the help.

The press is excelent, the hand primer is kinda sticky and you have to be real careful that the tray don't fall off, it keeps working it's way off, every 10 pulls or so. After a couple trays went flying , I learned to keep pushing it back on every 5 cranks. Also the primers get hung up on a small ledge inside the tray receiver. As for the debur/ chamfer, it's not that it sucks, but when you do a couple hundred in a sitting, you'll say , " this sucks":) To slow.

That's too bad, both mine and my buddies RCBS priming tool works great. No sticking, great pressure feedback, and no loose parts. Perhaps you got a dud? e-mail RCBS, they may just replace yours for you.

edit: sorry didn't see your follow up post.
