Hello,

So if I have this right, you can ship a flintlock okay from the states, but a percussion you can't because it's more of a "firearm" than the flintlock is, and have to be registered and all that crap?

I'm asking as I've been checking out the rifle kits on Track of the Wolf, and would like to get a flint and percussion rifle to build.

Thanks,

Flintlock long guns are not considered firearms subject to registration in Canada. Flintlock handguns must be registered unless they were manufactured before 1898. Percussion lock firearms must be registered unless they were manufactured before 1898. Percussion kits and flintlock handgun kits will probably be considered firearms for importation purposes...
