Bought a Kowa 77 about 30 yrs ago, just because I couldn't see a 32cal double at 200 with a 15-45x60 B&L Elite. It was not cheap, can sell it for what I bought it for, no sweat, but, I have kept it, used it for various purposes, and have no regrets in having spent the loot on it. I also try to use anything but black targets, never did like them, never will.
