Question regarding BLAZER BRASS ammo

There is a thread going on with respect to bulk 9mm ammo of the type I wanted to inquire about, but as my question is a little different I thought I’d start a new one. I don’t want to hi-jack the other thread.

I have access to a few cases of BLAZER BRASS 9mm in 115 grain FMJ and the same ammo in 230 grain FMJ for 45 ACP. It’s my understanding this is a reasonable line of “middle of the road” ammo. Perhaps not the best one can buy, or the most accurate, but at least safe to shoot without fear of damaging your guns. As indicated, this is their line that uses brass casings, not aluminum.

Has anybody had much experience with this brand/line of ammo? I believe Federal makes it, but cannot swear to that.

If you have used it I’d be interested in what you thought of it, and whether or not you would buy more. At the distances I shoot (and my skill level) I'm not concerned about pin point accuracy. I just want something at a reasonable cost that will not damage my guns.

Thanks

Nothing wrong with Blazer Brass. I use it often. I'd use that over American Eagle anyday of the week and twice on Sundays.

I prefer S&B , but Blazer is solid ammo.

I've shot thousands of rounds of both 9mm 115gr and 45 acp 230's without any problems. It's not even that dirty. I like it. It's better than filthy MFS and it's brass cased.

I am not a big fan of it, personally.

I am not sure whether it was the fact I was shooting it from a Glock or not but I had more stovepipes then I have ever had with Wolf ammo. Also, I am far from a marksman on a pistol but I found the accuracy was not as good as others I have fired. When looking at the expended brass the casings seemed burnt which caused me some concern.

This is just my observations but I will not purchase it anymore.
