Question regarding Bolt Carrier Groups made by different manufacturers

I have a DD AR15, was looking to pickup a spare BCG. Is there any reason that would suggest I purchase a BCG from DD versus another manufacturer?

Can the community provide information from their knowledge and experience on using the same versus other manufacturers, thanks CGN.

DD makes a very good BCG, they tick all the boxes as far as specs and testing go, frankly though, I'd just buy a bolt and a bolt parts kit - the carrier isn't particularly prone to failure. Spend the extra money on ammo, mags or put it toward training.

Fireing pins can break extractor springs can't get weak or the excavator itself dulls lots of reasons (on the bolt not bc)

If you don't put hundreds of rounds down range per trip it's not really an issue

If you run classes or comps where a failure would ruin your weekend than maybe it's worth the extra cash in spare parts
