Question regarding tri-rail on Norinco CQ-A 10.5"

Hey folks!

Sorry if this has been addressed, but my search skills are lacking.

Wondering if any of you have attached a Colt tri-rail or knock off G&G tri-rail to your Norinco with success?

I bought the knock off G&G and was upset to find it was too large to properly fit on my CQ-A 10.5". I know I'm rolling the dice with a knock off mount and Chinese clone gun... But heck worth asking.

Any input on your success or failures is appreciated!

I believe it does not work unless you grind off some material from either the triad or the FSB. The Norinco FSBs aren't in spec.

I bought a Colt Canada triad for my SA15.7. It fits great on that but won't fit on my Norinco CQ311-1. Then again, nothing fits properly on that damn thing. The newer Norcs are apparently a little better. Not much help, I know.
