Question to magazine capacity of SMG

I believe the CZ 91S falls into the "should have been pinned to 10, but RCMP sez 5" category. It's based on the Skorpion machine PISTOL. Despite the tiny wire stock, it is designed to be aimed and fired by the action of one hand. But the RCMP called it a "Commercial Version", which isn't even any kind of real category in Canadian Law, outside of the RCMP FRT. I mean cripes almighty: it comes with a holster!

I think you're missing the point... "commercial version" refers to a semi-auto commercial version of a gun that was originally designed as a Machine Gun/Machine Pistol and not considered a "Handgun" under the RCMP's interpretations... or CFC's. It's a semi-auto variant of a full auto SMG. It's not prohibited but it's not exactly a "Handgun" either.

They aren't really handguns and they aren't machine guns so they call them Commercial Versions (of machine guns).

Since they use the same magazines that the original guns use (and the original gun designs are NOT handguns) they are limited to 5 round magazines.

I get a headache just thinking about it all :(
