Question to Marstar about BD-44 mags

The facts are when he purchased his rifle he was told by the "salesman" that mags would be available in a month. Then he is on a public forum 6 months later asking the public if they know when mags will be available. How would any interpret these facts?

I think I have all the facts I need to make the statement I made. I only commented on what the original poster presented as the facts. Your poor planning and bussiness development is not any of my concern or interest.

if your customer had the facts from you that he was seeking here then I would have no opportunity to offer my 2 cents.

Interesting that the problem is solved once it becomes a point of disscussion.

If my comments about appropriate communications and support touched a nerve I guess it is because the nerve is raw.

Often the defense illustrates the claim.

I learned a long time ago NOT to discuss what we have planned, otherwise we get flooded with a large number of irrelavent questions.... and end up accused of misdeeds.If we state we will have X in May and it arrives in June, we are liars, fraud artists, we mislead our customers , etc, etc....

I handed you a thread with a list of hundreds of satisfied customers and you seem to focus on the half-dozen #######s who haunt you. They can't be satisfied.

Better we simply announce new products when they are either on the way in or in one of our warehouses.... Much easier on folks nerves....

Understandable, but you could simply say something like, "Something cool is coming. Save up $1000 by June." It would increase sales no doubt. I buy something every month, but an afford to spend at only one vendor at a time. So I had to pass on Walter's CZ pistols when I bought from another business. A monetary heads up helps.

For example if I were to say that we are introducing new belt fed semis very soon, what is the reaction ??

I'd say if this is so, and not rhetorical, tell me how much to save up. I don't care if you tell me what it is.

What if I say an entire new line of high end pistols at our usual lower than all others prices ?? Will be on our site right after the holidays ??

Awesome.

What if I say we will be introducing a complete new line of those nasty "assault rifles in the new year ??

Well, no, just like I said, I was told they "should" be here by July. I've imported supplies from Eruopa before, and I know things can get real screwed up at customs sometime. If you read my posts over again, (and realize I'm "not" pissed off) you'll see I was just asking "nicely" what the situation was, as I was pretty sure other would like to know.

John answered my question, and I'm very happy with the reply..... Now, let's all play like nice boys and girls.....

A very interesting statement indeed, obviously you have all the facts once more.... We would not accept the mags at the time because they had the potential of causing legal problems for our clients.... If this was wrong then we apologize....

We spend thousands of dollars on communications services, a simple call, e mail or fax would have obtained the info faster.... Beleive it or not I do have other things to do than read CGN all day long, just in case a question may be asked

Not at all, but perhaps I may suggest that since you are so interested in taking up other peoples causes that you fully inform youself BEFORE jumping in the fracas....

That is what it amounts to. I will spend it on guns anyhow. Help steer it toward you by giving us a heads up. Again, you don't even have to say what it is. I know it will be worth it. So, with tax time coming up, how much should I set aside. Tell me now, or I'll get a big TV.
