Question, Will Aftermarket 9mm 1911 barrell work in a Norinco?

I am wondering if for instance, Say Wolf Comp barrels or other 9mm aftermarket 1911 barrels work in either Norinco NP28 or NP29?

Don't know why not. Haven't fired it yet, but a Colt Super .38 barrel fits my NP29.

Depends on whether they are traditional link & pin set-up or ramped. If the former then they may drop-in with no fitting or require minor fitting. If ramped then some 'smithing likely will be in order.

That said I have a Colt factory .38 Super barrel and a Springfield Armoury factory 9mm barrel that are both link & pin that drop right into my NP29...

Doesn't the slide need a longer breach face to feed the smaller diameter cartridge?
