I have a Leupold vari-X III 2.5-8 mounted on my 458 win mag and when I crank the magnification to 8(clear picture) take a shot, look in the scope again and the picture is a little bit blurry, bring back to 2.5 and then back up to 8 and picture is sharp again….. any body had that happened on there Leupold and dealt with it? What was the issue?

Sounds like something is coming loose inside the scope, if I were you I’d send it in for warranty. Usually if there is a workaround for a problem, it’ll likely be temporary until it eventually fails completely.

Oh yeah, the kit for bison and moose is quite elaborate or I should say got quite elaborate over the years.
