I have looked in track of the wolf. I dont know if they can ship one to canada and how hard it is to do. SIR has some but I want to get a lefty full stock with a 1:60 or so twist for round ball. I have lots of 50 cal supplies so a 50 is the ideal. Making lead buttons as I type this at work.
 
Flintlock long guns are a non-issue, as far as getting them across the US line goes. They come in the mail, and depending on how they are shipped , will require payment of GST/PST and a handling fee.

If you allow the shipper to send a kit via courier company (FedEx/UPS/Purolator, etc) expect to get done up the hoop on the fees. If the items are sent via the US Postal service, it'll cost you a $5 fee plus the taxes as applicable, where the couriers charge schedule starts at around $50 for the same 'service'.

Hillfolk, Sitting Fox, Track of the Wolf (who are really good about shipping to Canada, from firsthand experience) Wholesale sports, Elwood Epps, etc. can all supply you with various LH Flinter stuff, ranging from factory mass produced kits, to customized collections of high grade parts to build your perfect gun from.
The Rifle Shoppe is another place in the US, that may be worth a look.

I bought a L/hand Late Lancaster kit from Pecatonica River, whom I'm told make the stocks for TOTW. Took them 3 months to ship it ! Even though I called every 2 weeks ? They sent a tiggerguard and buttplate were both wrong (too small) that was another 6 week wait ?
A friend of mine has built a number of kits from them and never had any problems.
I mention this, given the BS from Pecatonica , they have a good quality product, and I assume they were extremely busy when I ordered mine.

Coooterdog, have you decided what style you want to build ?

Kind of kentucky style, like full stock with a 1:60+ twist for round ball open to sugestions in a lefty nessy.
 
Pecatonica River Long Rifle have the best choice of L/Handers, even Jim Chambers only offers 1, and TOTW only offer 2 I believe.
If you want a long rifle, I would highly recommend a swamped barrel versus a straight barrel,BIG difference on the balance point. My wife is 5'2" and shoots an Isaac Haynes Lancaster (swamped barrel) no problem.
The heart of the flintlock is the lock, I would go with a large Siler,then we can show you how to tune it ;)
I would suggest getting this book "Recreating the American Long Rifle" by William Buchele. It's well written in laymens terms, lots of sketches,easy to follow instructions.
Do you already have inletting tools ?
Some of the more knowledgeable members here might be able to help you in that department, which are best, how to sharpen etc.
