Question

So i went to the store to buy a brick of American Eagle .22 and some .17HMR. When i got the the ammo counter the guy working it had no idea what .17HMR was, so i just walked behind the counter and grabbed what i needed. When i got home i realized i grabbed the wrong ammo. I usually get the brick of 500 rounds 40 grain solid, but i had bought a brick of copper plated 38 Grain hollow point, 400 rounds.

So im just wondering what is the difference between the too.

The hollow point will mushroom more and you got less rounds.

I prefer the 38gr to the 40gr. Less fouling in the barrel on account of the copper jacket. Both perform well.

.17HMR comes in 17gr and 20gr as far as I know. .22Mag comes in 38gr and 40gr..so what did you buy?
