the caliber may not be what the cartridge is named.

More examples
6.8SPR and 270 are .277"
38 Special it .357" but 38 S&W is .361"

lost of variation, also europe measured caliber differently then america :D
 
A few years ago a fellow brought in thousands of SS109 bullets...i think they were $100/1000. I bought a bunch but could never get them to group well. They would punch through steel plates really well though :)

Thank you very much for the explanations, I figured it out by reading more through forums.

Well hopefully I will do my first reloads during next few weeks and try it out :p
