That’s a hard one to ask an an even harder one to answer. In the past year I’ve seen a good half dozen come and sell here and online. The last one on OldGunsCanada was listed in a sneak peak email at $6900 (mind you a more desirable caliber and some sort of finish) and it never made it to the website as far as I could tell, which means it sold overnight at that asking (plus tax)
The last one I saw listed on antiquegunacanada was .41LC and a little more finish, same barrel listed around that $6500 mark (if I remember correctly) and sold after a couple weeks.
There’s been a few one here and over on GP, all starting around that $6k mark and going up considerably depending on the condition, caliber, provenance, etc.
That’s not me telling you what to list it for but that’s been the sort of range you seen them at typically.
Additionally if you look around you can print off the FRT report and a copy of the legislature around antiques and that’s usually enough, don’t fall for ads asking for money for this you can usually find it free.
Nice gun! Love them colts.

BTW - I don't use Armalytics anymore. Found too many mistakes and half-truths. I only use the RCMP FRT's.
Cheers!
I'm envious to no end...I have the exact same gun with no wear on it at all, just the "faded grey" of the guns of that era ....but mine was hatched the year after the cut-off so, besides being I/2 the value of yours in the real world- in our world of handgun bans it has been deemed worthless now.
Yikes!
How do you access the RCMP FRT?

Powderman
