Questions about Cz platform

Morning guys and gals,
I just got a new Sp-01 shadow. I've also got a Cz Kadet pistol. I tried putting the Kadet upper onto the Shadow, but couldn't get it to side far enough back. It should be compatible, right? It doesn't really matter, it was just out of curiosity.

There are two small projections that line up with the slide rails on the non moving part of the conversion towards the muzzle, I had to take them down a bit to make the 22 conversion fit onto my Shadow. Might have an effect on the kadet.

This^^, I used a file on a Learherman, go slowly.
 
Ok, thanks guys. I guess that's what they mean when saying "fitting". I'll leave it alone and just use it on the Kadet.
 
I have an 85c and a Shadow and the Kadet from my 85 doesn't fit the Shadow; it doesn't even fit an inch into the rails. I have the Kadet2 for the Shadow and honestly have't tried putting it on the 85. Whether fitted or right from the get go the Kadets are totally worth it.
