questions about Remington's 1100 tac-4

I've been very interested in this particular shotgun for a while now, but haven't had much luck on talking to anyone that owns one (or even fired one). I'd like to know how smooth they cycle heavy recoil ammunition, do they stand up to the Remington's name in reliability, etc. I only know of Benelli's M4 that's allowed for us Canadians, but can't justify the drastic price difference (I'd rather spend that extra cash on another pump). I know the SAT 8 is another but it's almost the same price as the M4 (why is this so hard?). Are there any other other tactical semi autos out there? Please help, thanks!
 
i have the tac for and its a very nice gun, it shoots slow for a semi.
i have the benelli m1 super 90 and its the best semi i have ever owned.
The SAT 8 is very close behind it.
