...as for the HK G3...after handling/shooting any Swiss 55X/PE-90 or Classic Green/Black Special/Blue Star/Red Devil/Heavy Metal, Carbine or CQB Classic Green you'll change your mind! Better built rifles, feel more substantial in the hand and shoot better than the HK! This from a reformed HK junkie.
I would have to agree. After handling/shooting many of the "legacy" battle/assualt rifles the SG 55x remains the most impressive and well built of the bunch. You should definitely own at least one.
