Questions. Enfield No. 1 Mk III. GR Marked.

I've come across an 1918 Enfield No.1 MkIII marked with a GR (Gurkha Rifles?) on the wrist of the stock as well as on the front of the receiver. Do the GR and 1918 markings help or hurt this rifle's value? I'm considering buying it off a neighbour but I'm unsure of the value.

If the GR is immediately under the crown on the wrist, its for George Rex or King George who was monarch when the rifle was built. Other GR stamp will be a proof mark. Pics?
