Questions for Browning Liege O/U shotgun

I like the Redheads, but I have to ask, are you looking at a gun for serious stuff, or a combination of everything just for enjoyment, upland, a bit of hunting, trap, etc?
The Redhead has screw in chokes which some shooters really like.
The reason I ask this is because a field gun needs to be lighter than a dedicated clays gun because of the number of rounds in a day you will shoot it.
A field gun gets carried far more than shot and vice versa!

When you say trap, do you mean organized trap at a range? Or just shooting clay birds at the farm? When you tell people on this forum that you want to shoot trap, they assume organized trap, and will give you very specific advice (tight choke, high comb, etc.). If you want a gun that will shoot trap, skeet, sporting clays, and possibly hunting, then the advice will change.

Trap guns are not the best choice if you ever think you would like to shoot sporting clays or skeet. I would suggest something more versatile like the field gun mentioned or a sporting gun. Unless you just want to shoot trap but I would keep my options open.
That browning will probably shoot a million plus rounds before it needs any parts if it's looked after.
