Questions for the Anti-tank experts

I suspect about all of them came from Century International, along with a bunch of converted full autos , in the 90s.

I don't know of there is a simple answer to those questions, since the rifles have come into the country in several batches over a long period of time. Around 2005, I went to Wolverine arms to buy a PTRD (I think they got 16 of them in then, but can't say for sure) and John pointed out that they also got in 4 PTRS. I went home with one of each. Whomever imported them brought in more, as they also turned up at Marstar and at collectors source.

There was a database online from the Ottawa Citizen at one time which listed all guns registered by model and other data liek th eowners postal code. It might have come close to giving you the answer, but only based on what was imported while the registry was in effect, as well as pre-registry examples whose owners actually registered them. Not all owners did.

Another interesting and probably unknowable question is how many rounds total of 14.5x114mmR have been fired from those firearms since importation...

Ammo used to be sold by crates, it's still out there. And reloaders too.

Indeed there is. There are a few test ranges in the country still using the soviet era prohibited B32 API for qualifying tank armour. Probably throw more spent casings in the garbage in a year than most PTRS/D owners will see in a life time.

Shameless plug, looking for Solothurn S18-1000!!!

6-7 years ago when I started watching. Even a PTRD or PTTS were very rare to see for sale. But in the last two years.....many for sale. More then the market will support.
