Questions for the mauser nutz .

Hello....I have a Brazilian M954 in 30/06..she has some of the widest threads at the end of the bbl that I have seen...
What exactly is it there for ?..I have seen pics of them with what looks like a cap of some sort...and where can I find one, if at all ?....Cheers..

The barrel is threaded for a muzzle brake. Don't know where you would find one.

I have the same rifle! I'd love to have a cap to thread on there or even a muzzle break (wouldn't look right LOL!)
Any idea what thread it is? LH, RH, metric? It's pretty coarse! Please post details if you find something that works to cover those threads!
