you have to admit, however, lately, there's been a lot of questions that have already been answered by either the stickies, the manual, books, or the dvd's -questions constantly asked and previously answered tend to get a "GO LOOK IT UP " repsonse, and at least in my view, show a certain amount of lack of willingness to do some diligent research on the poster's part(ducks and covers)
True.
However some people on this board are under the impression that firearms discussion and the sharing of information is something other users enjoy (I know I do). I will share information on most topics in a social setting regardless of whether or not the information can be googled or found at the local library.
With a two year old girl, wife, and a truck that still needs an oil change; I guess I'm out for the "quick fix." Personally I don't have the time or willingness to watch DVDs about the M14. Reading is much faster, even if I have to Google.
Also, and this is very relevant, there are only 80's imported Norinco M14's in the U.S. (mostly) and thusly most of the "Google'd" info is pertinent to these rifles that are, arguably, not the same in quality or material.
This makes Canadiangunnutz.com the only authoritative source for "quality" information on current production Norinco M14's.
I am not an emotionally guided person and will not take offence from individuals who would rather not post an answer to a question they could easily answer.
That being said; I had already found out the reason for the tilting butt stock on the M14 in an obscure article just prior to the helpful post above. - Still, thank you for your response.
Canadians are great in their demeanor and helpfulness and our board is often lacking in the snotty responses posted on other boards. – Lets keep it up!
P.S. I apologize for my verbose post. As a computer programmer, I type very quickly.
