I am about to start reloading .308 for my beautiful new RFB and need to know if I must use small base dies to ensure proper cycling. Also suggestions on installing a lightweight bipod. Do I need to install the picatanny rail or just a single stud for a Harris style bipod? Any suggestions on brand of dies or how you set up your bipods would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Bill

Go with the bottom rail from Kel-Tec. It takes about a week to ship and it's only $40. Anything shorter and you risk cracking the handgaurd. I really like the Harris bi-pod, but unless all you ever do is bench shooting it's not the best option for the RFB. Here's what I'm running on mine, it's still a work in progress but it should be finished in the next few weeks.

thanks for the info so far. Does anyone know if there is a Kel Tec owners group for the Canadian RFB's?

I put a rail on mine with a stud for a Harris bipod. I originally just had the stud mounted in one of the foregrip holes, but decided I wanted to run a pistol grip also. You can do it either way with some ingenuity.
