Questions on some brass

First question, would you reload these?

Second question, I found a few of these 40 S&W casings. Just wondering why (excuse me for the proper lingo) the opening is like a 9mm?

They are pretty tarnished, I'd throw them in the tumbler and see how they clean up and then go from there.

The other case is 357 SIG, it's made from a .40 case.
 
as stated above, clean them up and check for cracks/etc .

in your first picture, the case on top looks like the rim is pretty much gone, i would likely toss that one unless it's just a funny angle.



and the 40's cases necked to 9mm are 40cals that someone has converted to 357sig.
 
Yep. Those will clean up in a tumbler. Might take a while though. Visually inspect 'em for cracks first. However, range brass can be bad and you have no idea what has been done to it or how it was loaded.
