Questions regarding 10/22 accessories

I'm interested in building a Stainless 10/22 with match barrel, trigger and a new stock. I'm not too worried about the purchase of a stock from an american dealer... but what about the rest?

Will I have problems ordering trigger and barrel parts from our cousins down south or is there a canadian dealer I could be purchasing from?
 
I have ordered my trigger and parts right from the states. I delt with a fellow over at rimfirecentral.com called skeeter27red. He builds custom trigger assemblies and they are really nice. For the barrel I went Lilja in which there are a few canadian distributors here in canada.
 
Shouldn't have a problem with barrel of trigger...they are not considered part of the receiver (if importation is your concern).
 
Importation was my concern for the barrel and trigger, but if there's no problem with ordering those parts from the USA, awesome. :)
 
I just placed an order for some trigger parts from rimfiresports , it was very easy but I will time the delivery. ( I have been waiting for 2 weeks for a set of sites from Brownells):mad:

I will post how long rimfiresports takes.
 
I ordered a barrel from Brownells for my 10/22 and i was asked to fill out and file some import papers. I just canceled the order and bought a barrel in Canada.

Contact Green Mountain Barrels, they will give you the phone number of the
exclusive Canadian distributor. I've recently gotten a quote for a Green Mountain Blued .920 20 inch bull target barrel
$135 cdn taxes and shipping included. My research show this barrel to be excellent and the price is identical to U.S suppliers
