Looking for a new bipod for my hunting/target rifles.Would be nice to have the option to switch between rifles with out changing point of impact.Looks like some mount to rails under the rifle.One bipod for a couple different rifles would be a great thing. Whats everyone using these days as it looks like there are lots of new ones on the market.Some real life weights and prices would be great.Pictures also Very helpful.Thanks Jared

Rather than switching I have one on every rifle. I have eight . . . there are a spare or two.
Harris is the way to go as they have a free repair facility in Kentucky.
All other products are recycled unless there is return postage.

The bipods don't really move and POI stays very consistent. There are small variations in the stud placement so switching one pod from rifle to rifle is where I believe the problem lies.
Try a few of the models. My preference are the notched legs. Always thought I would like to try a swivel but a level comes in to play more. One day I will cinch the swivel down so it is out of play.

Love my Harris bipods. The taller version which accommodates sitting and kneeling is useful for shooting over some vegetation. I use it for most of my Whitetails, as I hunt mostly hayfields. I mostly shoot prone with the taller bipod in its lowest position.
Don’t forget to practice, practice, practice.
Also use it for sighting in.

I have some Harris and some knock offs, but this is my preferred bipod these days, B&T lightweight from Wolverine. I would call it as durable as Harris and half the weight. I put 3" picatinny adapter on all the rifles I want to use it on.

Thanks these are the kind of option's I'am interested in.Yes i have a few harris bipods and they are great but not good in a gun boot and if i can buy 2-3 little rails and move the bipod from gun to gun as needed i would like to try it.Thanks for the input,anything else out there to look at?

The Harris bipods clip onto the sling swivel, and are easily moved from one rifle to another.
The taller version is quite heavy, so a lighter option might be better.

Rail to attached the bipod, these work the best, but usually require an additional hole in the stock, sling attaches at the narrow tab at the bottom, you just can't see the hole in this pic:

Does it have a quick detach mount? I’ve been looking at them and like them the most.

I can't remember which one, but there is a name brand and several knock offs, some are on ebay. They are very difficult to search by name since there are so many kinds of adapters that are made to fit AR rails...
