I go out rabbit hunting alot(LOVE it!) but have yet to eat any rabbit I have shot. I am looking for a quick step guide on how to gut, skin, the rabibit, if anyone has pictures too that would be awsome as I am going to throw them onto my ipod for reference. I am staying in the woods all weekend and am planning to cook the rabbit whole on a stick and eat it with some beans. If that is not the best way to cook the rabbit please share your own, I am new to skinning/eatting anything I've shot so I am hoping for some simple easy steps to start on.

Thats how I pretty much do er. First I cut off all the paws, then just start with a very small hole in the back, and get your fingers in there and start tearing the skin to make it bigger. Then get your hand in there and seperate the membrane on the skin from the meat, and work all the way around the rabbit. Just pull on the hide too, it'll come right off. then ofcourse just cut off the head and make a shallow insicion on the stomach and pull out the guts. Volla.

You dont hunt the Fingal Wildlife Management Area do you?
