Just came home and the new sight is on the table waiting for me, It's late so I'm gonna write a quick review.
Packaging = B+(EDIT: marked down from A++ to B+ as the photo on the packaging does not match the actual product, well spotted jg007) , well packed the box is good quality, good quality printing, well designed logo, not it matters to the sight quality but it does show the company is serious about their product. few extra bits are included, all the tools you need, extra battery tray, battery tray tool etc, etc.

Finishing and build quality = A, anodizing finish is on par with my aimpoint, all buttons, solar panels, lens seems are good quality materiel, it's a good looking sight just like aimpoint, however not as good in attention to detail as aimpoint(glue traces around the buttons etc).

Lens clarity = A++ very clear on par with aimpoint.
reticle = A++ now this is a interesting new feature, I bought this sight largely due to this feature - an eotech reticle in aimpoint sight, even better, you can switch between them, a 65moa circle dot, or just a red dot, now I actually prefer holosun's reticle execution than the eotech's, why? because holosun uses LED instead of laser, I'm near sighted, eotech's reticle is one big ball of blur when I'm not wearing glasses. whereas holosun's reticle is nice and clear to me, it's in fact super bright and clear, I'm very impressed.

funtion and easy of use = A++ another big selling point of this sight I believe will be the instant solar, when I say instant, IT'S INSTANT, the sight will work with no battery installed near a light source. it automaticlly switches between solar and battery, the sight is always on, with automatic brightness control( no delay)

mounting = B- edit: marked down to "D" as the bolt broke on me, but the sight accepts any aim point mount , I'm using an ADM mount at the moment, no issues.

I can't get into shock proofing or water proofing abilities for obvious reasons.
all in all I'm very impressed, I will no longer call it an aimpoint clone because now it has incorporated feature/s that aimpoint does not have, i.e instant solar
hope I did not miss anything, pics to follow tomorrow(edit: pics added) , ask away if I missed anything. i paid $269 for it which is very good value for the money.
