This may seem like a real amature question but i don't want to break something.
I'm trying to take my new savage mkII bv apart to play with the accutrigger. I removed the front assembly stud and the stock assembly stud. How to i remove the REAR assembly stud? I dont see any access to it. Without it removed i cant see to remove the barrel and action together.

Help?

In the manual it shows only two screws that you have to remove for taking the stock off. This might not help too much but I'll post it anyways.

Thanks for that.
I did take out those exact two screws. Does your stock remove easily at that point? something is holding it on at the very rear point where the rear stud is...

If you don't mind, do you think you can take a picture of the action removed from the stock, and a picture inside the stock? If not, don't worry about it at all..Just if your bored haha.
I'm gonna give it another try, really afraid to break something though

Just make sure to lift STRAIGHT UP, if you lift the front of the barrel instead, the trigger will get caught.

Yeah the first time I took mine apart it was in there pretty solid but once I did it, every time after was really easy.

Glad you got yours out.
