Quick mossy 500 question

I am buying a mossberg 500 this weekend the "field" model with the 28" barrel. I am just wondering if I can run slugs and buckshot through this barrel as well? Also if I bought the slugster model, could I put buckshot/birdshot model outta it?

You can run bird shot through the slugster and slugs through the field model but you should check out the dual barrel package from mossberg, both the 500 or 535 package are great deals.
