Quick question on case length

My hornady manual says 1.760" max, 1.750" case trim length, but the majority of this range brass I'm working on is between 1.748-1.740"

Should I trim them all to 1.740"? Or are they too short to use?

It's for a .223

I am not at home to check your numbers to my reloading manuals. If what you have written is correct all your brass is below the case trim length. I have found this to be normal with many calibres and you may need to shoot them a few times to find you need to trim them from maximum length. You don’t have any problems here, don’t trim them, just go ahead and use them as is.

Well - They want to give you some margin, such that you can go several firings without having to trim again.
