Quick question on M70 's

Are FN manufactured rifles stamped "FN" or some other designation on the serial# or other part of the barrel. Just wondering because I would like to able to distinguish these rifles from the new haven manufactured ones.

The FN ones are manufactured in South Carolina and have BACO stamped on them the New Haven ones are stamped - New Haven

FN ones are stamped on the right hand side of the barrel
--Made in USA-BACO INC-Morgan Utah--
Seems odd they don't mention that the rifle is actually made by FN in South Carolina anywhere on the guns but thats the way they are labelled. Winchester and Browning is owned by BACO whose American head office is in Morgan Utah. All older rifles are stamped New Haven Conneticut.

Check out the FN serial number, it's about 30 digits long!
