quick question, troy buis

can you get a troy folding front sight for a railed gas block? seems like they only make 'em for a railed hand guard. are the MI ones satisfactory instead if thats the case?

As far as I know you are correct. Only Troy front sights are for handguards. A buddy has the MI on his rifle and it works as advertised.

cover you gas block with a longer rail...

using railed gasblocks are generally bad ideas anyway (not pinned) -- better to either use a stock FSB - or get s shaved or low pro dimpled and pinned and put a rail over it.

Troy did make a fs for a gas block, just not any more.

yikes, pricey.. it'd be 155 bucks by the time you got it, just south of the border!.


i would throw on a longer rail, low pro gas block etc if i could do some sort of a trade for all my ####, so im not stuck with a bunch of extra parts right away, im on breakup now, gotta start watchin my cash flow

These are hard to "see" in person.
