quick question....twist rate norinco "M-4" clone??

Original ones had a 1 in 12 but that wouldn't stabilize standard nato type ammo so the ones over here have both 1 in 9 and 1 in 7, it can be both.
 
To measure:
Put a patch on a jag and insert it in the muzzle.
Mark the cleaning rod in a way you can count one full revolution.
Push rod in and stop when it has made one full revolution.
Mark the rod where it sits at the muzzle.
Pull it out and measure from the front of the patch to the mark on the rod.
This is your twist rate. 1 in however many inches the rod travelled to make on revolution.
