I want to go skeet shooting this weekend, problem is im a complete newbie and dont know which size shot to shoot?
If it makes a difference I own a Remington WingMaster 870 that shoots 2 3/4 shots.
which size shot is most reccommended for skeet/clay shooting?

Most skeet shooters use #9 shot as you get a higher pellet count. They usually use a wide open choke. This is because the shot distances are rarely further than 25 yards, and these provide the most effective conditions.

I believe trap shooters prefer 7.5 and use somewhat tighter chokes.

Most clubs will only let you shoot shells with shot size between 7.5 and 9.
