Hey all just recently bought a DD M4A1 and I am here to do a quick range report.

As you can all I am running on it is magpul flip sights, and a magpul Angled Fore Grip.

Everything else is stock.

Aesthetics: 10/10 Looks pretty badass, nuff said about that.

Overall feel: 10/10 Very rock solid, action is very smooth, super light but still feels like you could bash someones head in. I will take this over any service C8.

So me and a bud took it to the local range and put around 150-200 rounds threw it........

this rifle is a freakin laser, took all of 3 rounds to zero at 50 yards after that, there was no point in shooting paper you couldn't ####ing miss.

Recoil is a joke, feels like I am firing .22lr.

We got bored shooting paper so we set up fist sized rocks at 100 yards. Even then we were barely missing and I suspect only because it was not zeroed for 100 yards.

(All from the standing postion btw)

The only problem I had was when I noticed it started to double feed on the same magazine that had a problem with seating.

Upon closer inspection I noticed the top of the magazine lip was bent. It was a E-Lander Brand Magazine(free Mag came with rifle). My other no name brand magazines worked perfectly.

Overall I Highly recommend this DD M4 to anybody looking for a amazing out of the box AR.

And I was wondering if anybody else has had a problem with e-lander Mags.

Congrats! Got to love DD rifles. I saw the current prices and I'm sticker shocked 'cause when I bought my v5 3yrs (4?) ago when Wolverine first started bringing them in, I paid $1400.
