I hope this is the right place for this question and I hope it hasn't already been answered somewhere else - I did a bit of searching for posting.

I have an Sr-22 with the top rail and want to mount scopes that I can change out. I already have a 1.5-4x that came with quick release mounts.
I would like to also pick up a cheap red dot with the quick release but can't seem to find anything that fits the bill. The quick release mounts are at least as expensive as the red dots...

Can anybody suggest a good product (red dot with quick release) or a cheap solution.

Looking to spend <$100.

Define sufficient? lasts a week, a month a year? Kind of holds zero after being removed? Doesn't fall off? If you're looking for a mount that will work repeatedly time after time, then cheap is not the price point to search for.

Well it's for a .22 so holding zero and falling off shouldn't be that big of a problem.

I've found a few reasonably prices red dots that will do what I want them to but the quick release mount costs sometimes twice as much as the sight itself. Are there cheaper options for mounting? Why are the mounts so expensive? Are there sights that come with the quick mount already on them for a reasonable price that will work fine on a .22.
What I'm looking for is the best I can get for $100. Quality is subjective in this discussion.

Why must it be qd? Are you working under the clock? I think a mount requiring a screw driver or allen key would be quick enough and are a lot less money. Good mounts cost good money. It takes skill to create a mount that holds zero after repeated removals. Convenience comes at a cost.

I ordered a UTG set of easy detach from ebay seller hales sporting goods down in the states, was 35 bucks, and man are they solid, I've mounted them, shot, and removed, and put back on and held zero perfectly.

There is a tension adjusting setting for the lever too, so I am a big fan, and loved the price.

I don't want to have to zero the sight in every time I switch it out. I already have a quick release scope on it, so for the sake of convenience i'd like the second one to also be quick release.

Standard mounts should hold zero if they're a quality product. QD just makes it easy and usually without the need for tools.
