Interested if you can get 3000 fps out of this cartridge and 135's. Please tell.

It’s pretty tough. I started seeing pressure at 2950. This is where I’m staying. Ignore the COAL. That is a brain fart.

I've used Re26 in the 6.5X55 with the Hornady 140 gr AMAX, and found it to be the optimum Burn Rate and density with that combination if max MV is the goal. A full case of 53.5 grs slightly exceeded 3000 fps in my 26" barrel at an OAL of 3.210".

Re26 shows just slightly faster than Re25 in the 6.5X55 with 140's.

Reloder 26 seems to be a powder well suited to certain chamberings.

It is absolutely the cat's meow in my 8mm Remington Magnum, giving
stellar accuracy and great velocities. [over 3000 fps with the 220 A-Frame]

It is supposed to be slower than Reloder 25 as per burning rate charts,
but as Andy has noted, in some applications, it is actually slightly faster
than is 25, so be cautious when you work up loads. Dave.

I have never used RL 26, or anything that slow. But have had good experiences with H4350 and RL 17 in the similar 260 Rem.
