Quieting snacks/food?

There is a company called abeego. They make a beeswax coated cloth wrap. Silent, reusable and it works well. Once in a while the hippies get something right.

my wife hand makes these as well. sells them at sales on some weekends with her other hand made candles, soaps, signs, etc.............
i use ziplok for my pb&j at work. LOL

years ago I got these pouches from an archery shop on Vancouver island that are like fleece Ziploc bags. The interior is the same as those soft plastic water bottles and they Ziploc inside and have a silent zipper top. About the size to fit a hefty sandwhich and they are machine washeable..
I unpackage my cliff bars and other snacks that come in wrappers back at camp and easily and silently access them while Hunting. Those combined with the 2liter camelback in my day pack, I'm set for silent hydration and silent calorie intake

I never even thought about how loud a plastic water bottle is till I was alone in a deep dark section of bush , and I used to laff at an old dude I knew that used a wine skin for drinking water coffee etc when hunting

A bit of fiber in your diet won't hurt you.
I just use sandwich wrap or paper towels. I always bring an apple and cut it with a knife.

I carry pepperettes in a zip loc bag, ive never found it to be too noisy, as well as apples and a bottle of water.

Whenever I'm going out hunting I have little snacks I'll do a little mini packs vacuum sealed

unpack all your granola bars, chocolate bars, and other goodies put them in a cut down pillow case and roll it up, very quiet, you can even add a draw string if you can sew.

Yeah, this.

The bush is a noisy place, with lots going on.
If you are moving fast enough to make stuff rattle and otherwise make enough noise that you hear it, you are hiking, not hunting.
Though I do admit to having cut all the rattling zipper pulls off the fanny pack that is my usual hunt kit, and replacing them with string loops...

My usual snack food is granola type bars. Never figured they caused me any kind of disadvantage. I suppose if you think of a bag of Cheetos or such as a snack...

Although i do take fruit because its easy to dispose of the peel/scraps and theres no wrappers. Opt for larger fruit that doesnt need to be in a container. Banana, apples, pears etc.

OP, you asked a reasonable question, it is only "over-thinking" it, until you have been on stand for several hours and the woods are dead silent and unbeknownst to you, your quarry has crept up behind you.

I always found the best way was to just roll the winda' up and crunch away on a bag of Nacho's without a worry...and if I did venture out for a bit and got hungry there was always a good bit of those little "covered raisins" laying around that someone else must have dropped to forage on....
