Well Whats the Story on these scopes. Have they been around for a long time. Are they any good. Basiclly i came acroos them and was thinking about buying in. What your Thoughts owners and tire kickers

I read some very positive reviews on these guns . It was being reviewed recently on a tv show and they loved them. I am seriously considering it

I thought I would bring this up from the basement to see if anyone else has any info on these guys. I couldn't even find their specs on their site.

I have seen all of those above. I am interested in these guys, but am wondering, as I see no specs.

Ok, in case you haven't searched the forums for King Optics (and you should, especially if you appreciate fine humor), many of the aforementioned scopes have developed reputations for being over priced, over marketed, and seriously lacking in function and/or quality. Trying to test any of these scopes has proven difficult as customers, and even dealers, are reluctant to spend Leupold/Nightforce dollars on previously untested products (and companies don't seem too willing to supply samples).

Shows on Wild TV do not count as real world torture tests, and Helgie and Ryan are not Batman and Robin.

Buyer beware, big time.

Not sure how Nightforce got thrown in with the likes of King Optics though.

I am not talking about King optics, gorky. I was wondering about Quigley Ford.

Yeah I get that, but I think you are missing the point. If you cannot find anyone to give you information on the scope, and you cannot find information about the scope on the manufacturers website, and the only place you see the scope is on Wild TV, and they still want to charge you big bucks for it, there should be alarm bells going off.

In today's internet age, if a manufacturer cannot post info about their products, there is much cause for concern.

Again, I am not saying I know anything specifically about Quigley Ford. But the fact that I do not says something (I own a sh*tload of optics). The fact that most Gunnutz know nothing about it says something. This is just a polite warning to be careful about spending hard earned dollars with them, even if one or two guys come along extolling the virtues of said product (Recap of another Wild TV optics thread: a couple of "experienced" users posted about the high quality of the scope and so on, only to be exposed as employees or confederates of the company, or something along those lines).

This isn't to say that all new things are garbage or should not be trusted. But look at how Vortex has brought their product to the marketplace (or Premiere, for that matter) and you will see the stark difference between them and the aforementioned Wild TV specials.

I here you,,, That is why I am asking, and I know the best of the best game. I have read plenty of it. Thanks for the warning of caution.

I am going to call them, they are in Ontario.
I watch a lot of wild tv LOL it's on all day in my shop while i'm workin..... about 12 hours a day :D
i like the idea of the etched recticle in 50 yard increments. I shoot a model 70 7mm rem mag and would like an optic that is set up right from the go my my caliber and bullet weight, 160 gr nosler, factory federal vital shok ammo.
I want to be able to confidently hold out to 500 yards with my 7mm and a recticle matching my rifle would be excellent.

thier site seems new and all the pages are kind of repetitive. All the info is geared towards telling you about the etched recticle and it's caliber matching graduations. There is zero info on what goes into the rest of the scope. like details on construction, lens type and info on coatings..... you know... all the important info is just not there.

so are you buying an offshore scope, with a custom etched recticle installed??
or are they making these optics with high end lenses and the latest in light gathering and waterproofing/fog proofing....

I am tempted as i want a scope with a recticle matching my rifle.... in 50 and 100 yards increments..... and i'll only buy etched recticle scopes from now on.

I'll see what i can find out and will post anything i find if i do.

For a 7mmremmag, just purchase a Zeiss Conquest with the Rapid Z800 reticle.

To my eyes anyways the QF scope looks like all the other rebadged Chinese scopes.

They seem to have a distinctive shape to them. I remember Smith & Wesson came out with a scope that looked similar.

Maybe they're a great scope but I'd bet a pile of money they're just cheap Chinese garbage.

I see they are a dealer at the upcoming Huntfest in Edmonton at the begining of August so I will check them out and post here with my opinions. I am with Gorky on this one, just like King Optics...I am very careful about any new optics line that suddenly shows up without some prior presentation to the firearms industry and media. Phil.
