I don't have any experience with that rifle but I would recommend a scope of some sort to assist in aiming. :D

Nice looking .22 though. Have fun once you get it set up.

I had one...shot fairly consistent 5 shot groups @ 50M in the 0.6" range. Like all rimfires, you need to try every brand of ammo you can get your hands on to determine what it likes best. Mine prefered Federal Gameshock with Federal Gold medal second.
I didn't like the trigger creep so sold it to a buddy. I still borrow it occssionally and if I had it to do over again would have kept it and sent the trigger group to a US smith who does TC triggers. (I could not find anybody in Canada to work on the trigger). I cleaned about every 500 shots.

I know about testing a lot of different ammo, I've already have;
SK standard plus, Lapua Midas L, Lapua Master L & M, Eley Tenex, Green Tag, CCI Select, Win. T-22, Win.Subsonic,Win Dynapoints,RWS Pistol Match, CIL Match (old)Aguilla SE, Blazer, AE, Fed Game-Shok 710,712,510 plus a couple more , so as soon as it get warmer..it's off to the range to shoot...a lot. I also have a new Marlin 60 DLX to test

Yes I know the bases are either 411 or 9951, and so far I can't find any locally...I ordered both thru a local gunshop...hoping to get either one or both ..see know begining of next week

My T/C #9951 bases have "422" stamped on them. The curvature of the 411 might still work ok. Never tried a set.

I received my Weaver 411 bases the other day and I found out that my Burris Signature Zee rings wouldn't fit , the bases seem to be too wide:confused:..not wanting to return them and wait an other 1 1/2 weeks for replacements, I filled a little material off one side and it's OK ..a little tight but that's OK .I installed my old Tasco 10-40x50 and I'm ready to test ..if the temp. will go up over 0'C:D
Also received my extra mags, one 5 shot and a 10 shot

Glad to hear it worked out ok in the end. Just got my set of Burris Sig Zee rings today :) and tried to fit them on my T/C #9951 bases (with "422" stamped on them). Perfect. Slides on easy and tightens up well.

Sometimes feeding can be an issue, it's quite often the angle of the feed ramp on the magazine. If you run cci minimags through it, say a brick or two to break it in it will then happily eat the slower match ammo. Expect 1/4 groups at 50 yards. It's a wonderful rifle. Congratulations. Mine enjoy cci minimags and eley sport, and better yet, eley match. Tc bases were only $16

Give CCI standard a try at 50 and 100. I've shot two of them with this ammo. Both clover leaf at 50 and 5 shots just under 1moa at 100 yards.

I too have had great luck with CCI, especially minimags and velociters. very accurate rifle, much more so than all my cz's.

I was shooting CCI Std at 25 and 100 at Mission on Thurs (100 was using the ballistic plex reticle rather than adjusting the scope....just for fun). Too bad you couldn't make it out that day and join me and lineofsight.

I found minimags to be a little less accurate than CCI Std or Fiocchi. At least at 25 yds (indoor range earlier this week). Mind you, the rifle was unfired at that point. Not sure how accuracy might vary within the first couple hundred rounds.

Probably 350 rounds through it now. Need more range time. :)

May be, we were outdoors, shooting at 50 yards, after 500 rounds plus had been through it. Swtichted to Eley and groups tightened right up, needed to run 1000k of hot ammo through first before the eley would cycle. As a side not, local dealer had one in stock for 3 years, after I took in a target, he ordered 10 and they sold in 6 days. great rifle.

I took my Benchmark to the range last Sunday, was shooting SK Std + ammo , it took about a box (50) for it to settle down ,then I shot this group.
5 shots taken at 50 yds from a bench , scope set at 40X..
Like my shooting buddy said..it's a start:D

Your .355" group could've been a lot better if not for that flyer on the left. ;)

Nice job!

Didn't knew about this rifle until Bobv first show up his.

So if I understand correctly, it's a bit like a $1000 accuracy modded 10-22 at half the price, right?

That's about right , just put a scope on it and get good ammo ,I like SK Std+ , and you're ready to go:D
Don't have to change the barrel,trigger,stock,..etc
I don't own a 10/22 but from what read ,the only thing thing you end up with that is original ....is the box

My Benchmark will shoot 10 shot one hole groups at 50m with Remington Match ($30/500). With Federal 525 bulk ammo the groups are about three times as big (CZ 452 would one hole this stuff at 50m). Everyone I've talked to says the CCI Standards are the accuracy/cost kings in these things, I just can't seem to find any to test.

As an aside, I've had no problems with rifle whatsoever.
