R22 Project...

That's my problem too... I have a couple 10/22's I guess I'll take one apart and compare them.. I'm looking at some volquartsen parts and before I order them I sorta wanted to make sure...

Well I was reading the various threads on AR15.com and there was a lot of guys recommending the volquartsen extractor.

I'm toying with the idea of chamfering the bolt but I want to make sure its a spare bolt and not my functional R22 bolt

The R22 uses the 10/22 bolt but the receiver is Rhineland Arms and the trigger group is that of an AR15. The barrel is ?. But it is quite the tack driver and with the new stock the balance is shifted so that it is not a front end heavy which makes it very comfortable to shoot.

Barrel is a 16" Bull Butler Creek Barrel as stated on the website..

The barrel is most definately not a Butler Creek. The R22 does not use a standard 10/22 barrel. It is a 1" diameter barrel threaded 1x16 like the FN/FAL, and locked in place with a lock nut like the Savage 110 series.

Sorry you are right, Mix up on the reading....I just took a quick glimps on the website and saw BC and Barrel close by so I assumed...
